Whether you’re new to betting house betting or a gambling old-timer, twenty-one is one of the simplest and most fun card games betting houses have to offer. The objective in black jack is to defeat the dealer by getting a hand value as close to twenty one as possible and not exceeding 21. To bet on chemin de fer, you just need a basic comprehension of the rules and a desire to have excitement.

So how do you reach twenty-one? In blackjack, the cards have values. Number cards two through ten are valued at the face value, while every face cards (King, Queen and Jack) are valued at 10 points. The ace card is a special card in black jack: you decide whether it is worth one or 11 points. Since casino players are given 2 cards to start, if you get an ace and a ten valued card, you’ve achieved twenty-one-an immediate win, as long as the dealer does not get 21 at the same time. This two-card winning hand is called a "black jack"; hence the name of the game!

Casino game rules for black jack are essentially the same at all casinos. After you are given your initial 2 cards, your options are to hit, stay with your first 2 cards, double down, split, or occasionally give up.

When you compete in blackjack at a casino, be sure to know which game table to choose. Most casinos have color coded black jack tables according to the min. bet the table accepts, normally 3 dollars, five dollars, twenty-five dollars or $100. In any casino, it’s a given the 3 dollar and five dollar tables will be packed, but they are fantastic for newcomers at casino games considering that all of the cards are handed out face-up, instead of the 1up, 1down concept at higher tables. So the next instanceor the initial instanceyou go to a casino, make a sit down at the chemin de fer tables and aim for 21!
